Claycastle Studio engineer Warren Tivy tries out Logic Pro 9 Main Stage and Ultrabeat PDF Print E-mail

The Passion brianClaycastle studios engineer Warren Tivy tryied out Logic pro 9 Main Stage and Ultra Beat to create sound design for Séan O'Neill's play The Passion starring Brian Hogan at Mall Arts Centre Youghal Co. Cork

"Ultrabeat was the best tool for the job. Loading in voice samples and fx into the banks as well as editing and triggering from a midi keyboard was giving me smooth and instant queuing that I needed. I also used logic synths loaded on main stage to create live strings and atmospheric textures throughout the show. I also had a surround sound set up in the theater so i could route different samples from ultra-beat to different speakers giving the audience a full surround experience ,wicked!".
