All the rooms are professionally treated with acoustics, each with its own unique sound characteristics designed to help you bring out the best in performance. For your comfort we also have a kitchen, green room (lounge), toilet & shower.
Situated on the south coast of Ireland, Youghal Co. Cork is a beautiful and historic town, which offers some great leisure activities as well as great dinning & entertainment.

Course description
Ableton live is a music production / DJ technology software package. Whether you are an absolute beginner or already using Ableton Live, this weekend crash course is designed to give the user a good overview/introduction to the software. The course may not be suitable for advanced users.
System Configuration:Setting up mac/pc for use with Live
and audiocard settings for MIDI and audio applications within Live.
MIDI Programming:Creating drumloops, Basslines, Hooks
and synth-leads in Live.
Audio Editing/Programming:Warping, cut’n paste, top'n
tailing and sequencing audio loops for use in music productions.
FX / Processing:Using Ableton plug-in FX to bring colour
and life to tracks.
Tips & Tricks: For more effective mixing results.
Audio Mixdowns & Rendering:2 - track mix creation for
playing out.
DJing in Live:Warping / MIDI Controllers / Audiocards /
Live Looping / Live performance.
Sound Creation:Creating your very patches using Ableton
Live; including leads, percussion and the all-important 'hook'.
Basic Mastering for CD:Rendered 2-track mixes get the final
works before burning to CD!

Students are required to bring their own Mac/Pc (desktop/laptop), audiocard and headphones. The course begins at 10am and ends at 6pm, with an hour for lunch from 1pm to 2pm each day.

Drum Line
Drum- Line is an online drumming service that enables a musician/band/artist from anywhere in the world, recoding at home or elsewhere to have drums tracked to their song. All they have to do is send the track (without drums) to Drum-Line and Drum-line will track the drums for the artist at the studio and return the newly recorded drum tracks to the artist for mixing upon payment.
